Is the peak state-wide Aboriginal community-controlled organisation for education and training in Victoria. Look out for their Koorie Perspectives in Curriculum Bulletins which are published every term.

NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG)
Non for profit Aboriginal organisation that provides advice on all matters relevant to education and training with the mandate that this advice represents the Aboriginal community viewpoint.

Kaartdijin Noongar
This Education resource assists teachers by providing links between Kaartdijin Noongar website and the Australian Curriculum. There are detailed links for History, English and Geography from Pre-Primary to Year 10. Produced by South West (Western Australia) Aboriginal Land and Sea Council in collaboration with the Association of Independent Schools of WA (Inc).

Australians Together
Supporting teachers to build confidence to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives. They offer curriculum resources and a 1-hour professional learning video exploring ‘culture’ for teachers.

Narragunnawali (Reconciliation Australia)
Through the Narragunnawali platform, schools and early learning services can develop a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), and teachers and educators can access professional learning and curriculum resources to support the implementation of reconciliation initiatives.

Sally is a non-Indigenous woman who for the past 20 years, has worked exclusively with both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities within the Education context. In addition to her consultancy services, Sally offers a range of curriculum resources including Murri Maths - ways to embed Aboriginal perspectives into the maths curriculum.

Bring Indigenous perspectives into classrooms around Australia. They have resource samples, professional development courses and other services available.

The University of Melbourne Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Curricula Project
The project used three themes to guide the creation of the resources: Astronomy, Fire and Water. These themes were chosen due to the significant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge available, and their enduring importance today. The website includes resources for Years 3–10 across seven learning areas of the Australian Curriculum – English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, The Arts, Technologies, Health and Physical Education.

Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA)
ACARA has set Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures as a national cross-curriculum priority. It aims for all students to engage in reconciliation, respect and recognition of the world’s oldest continuous living cultures. Their website includes examples of how every learning area can contribute towards this cross-curriculum priority and illustrations of practice.

Queensland Curriculum & Assessment Authority (QCAA)
Offers a range of materials to support the inclusion of First Nations perspectives into the curriculum including advice on how to build relationships with local First Nations communities,
